The 6.0L V-8 L96 Gen-IV Small Block is a heavy-duty workhorse engine originally produced for GM’s past-model full-size 2500 series heavy-duty pickups. A cast iron block with 6-bolt main-bearing caps help provide a bolstered foundation while features like Variable Valve Timing help optimize performance and efficiency. The L96 is an ideal power unit for industrial, stationary power, or on/off road applications.
