Why choose GM battery technology?

 GM’s latest battery technology offers an innovative battery chemistry consisting of nickel, manganese, cobalt and aluminum (NMCA). While this battery has already been proven in the EV market with the 2026 GMC HUMMER EV and Cadillac LYRIQ EV, it is now being deployed in a wide range of applications. GM’s NMCA battery technology features:

GM RESS packs were designed to offer 100k miles or a 10-year expected life cycle for the 2026 GMC HUMMER EV, (actual levels will vary based on application and calibration)

Includes a IP67 Ingress Protection (IP) Rating, NMCA offers strong thermal stability, especially when combined with GM’s liquid cooling system
